1. How do I buy a painting?

Purchase direct from the artist:

Fill out the Contact Form and tell us the name of the painting as well as your country of residence and preferred payment method. You can pay by Paypal or Cheque.
We will send you a Paypal invoice with the price of the painting plus any applicable shipping costs or information on how to pay by cheque.

2. How much are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs may differ when purchasing through the above websites.

When purchasing direct from the artists via this website the following shipping fees apply.

Shipping is free to purchases made and delivered in the UK. For shipping costs to the USA and Canada we will add approximately £15 to the main price. For anywhere else in the world we will add approximately £20. The breakdown of costs will be shown in the Paypal request for money.

3. How will it be packaged?

We want our paintings arrive with you in perfect condition and wish no harm or damage to come to our works of art, so rest assured they will be extremely secure and well packaged to avoid any damage.

4. How will it be shipped?

In the UK we ship using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service which means it is signed for and insured and will arrive the next business day. Overseas we will choose from a variety of mainstream shipment companies. They will also be sent tracked and insured. Shipping times can vary but typically 5-10 working days.
You must allow 3 days for processing of the order before shipment takes place.
Shipping time is dependant upon location.

5. Are they originals?

Yes. These are original, unique and hand-painted by the artist.

6. Are they framed?

Paintings are unframed. This keeps shipping costs down and gives the buyer a chance to purchase a frame suitable for their own decor. However most of our paintings are now done on a box canvas which means they can be hung as-is if required.

7. Do you have a money back guarantee?

Yes. For details see below point 8.

8. What if I don’t like the painting, what is your returns policy?

In the unlikely event of dissatisfaction with a painting please use the contact form and quote your Paypal reference, name, address and phone number and explain the problem.
We will contact you as soon as possible and if a return is required you must ship the painting back to us and upon receipt we will issue you a full refund of the cost of the painting. You must tell us you wish a return and refund within 14 days of your receipt of the goods.
The goods must be returned to the artist within 28 days of your receipt with both goods and all packaging in their original condition, securely wrapped and at your risk and cost.
We will credit your Paypal account or credit or debit card with the full purchase price of the goods returned no later than 30 days from the date of receipt.
By use of this website you agree not to initiate a charge-back. If you are dissatisfied you must agree to follow the procedures listed here. Rest assured you will be fully refunded if not satisfied. Paintings will be sent insured and tracked.

9. What is your Privacy Policy?

Any data about you the customer will not be passed on to anyone else.
You will not be spammed by us as we hate it too!
You will receive information from us only if you have signed up for it, or requested it.
Transactions via Paypal are via connections to the Paypal website and any data stored by them is covered by Paypal’s data and privacy policies.

10. What are your Terms and Conditions?

The following terms and conditions relate to the business relationship between you and us.
By using the Driver Art web site, or purchasing a product or service, you agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
Goods are at your risk from the moment they are picked up by the carrier.
If you are a foreign (i.e. Non UK buyer) you must be able to communicate with us in good English and respond to all communications whether by phone, email or otherwise.
The address you provide in Paypal must match/be the delivery address.
We will not deliver to a different address than the one that corresponds to the buyers Paypal ID or does not match the address that corresponds to the credit card.

The colours you see on the screen may differ very slightly with that of the actual painting due to variances in digital imaging, screen or monitor quality and settings.
We do our best to reproduce a faithful and accurate image of the actual painting.

You agree that you will in no way modify, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, copy, or cause damage or unintended effect to any portion of our web site, or any software used on our web site, and that you will not permit any other person to do so.
You understand that any such violation is unlawful in many jurisdictions and that any contravention of law may result in criminal prosecution

11. Copyright Information

Although the ownership of the painting transfers to the buyer the copyright is still retained by the artist.

You may not copy, modify, publish, transmit, reproduce, or create derivative works from the painting whole or in part, unless expressly permitted by the artist.
All paintings are signed and dated by the artist.
