I am a self taught artist from the north east of England and have been painting regularly since 2005.

In that time I have sold over 100 paintings which now reside in private collections all around the world.

My works usually sell through word of mouth and via my website.

Although oil paints are my medium of choice I do occasionally paint with acrylics; but I find traditional oil paints give the versatility of colour and expression that cannot be found in any other medium.

In my early painting days I used to paint mainly seascapes and landscapes but found my interest moving into still life.

My still life paintings are an attempt to show how we often take the world around us for granted.

I try to show everyday objects in a different light, how the usual things in our life can be interesting and beautiful if we decide to see them that way.

By looking at our surroundings in this way it is possible to discover life can be how we choose it to be.
